Fine Root Traits of Pinus koraiensis Varied with Soil Cation Exchange Capacity in Natural Forests

چکیده
Adaptation of fine root plasticity to soil nutrients heterogeneity in natural forest ecosystems has not been well explored. The study aimed determine seasonal variations traits Pinus koraiensis forests and explore the relationship between properties. Root samples were collected from coniferous broad-leaved mixed (BP), monospecific P. (MP), (CP). Soil available phosphorus (P) content for MP was 31.7% 39.8% lower than BP CP. cation exchange capacity (CEC) by 23.5% 27.2% CP, respectively. In July, specific lengths surface areas CP (mixed forests) significantly higher (monospecific forest). A structural equation model showed that CEC had a significant effect on traits. diameter, volume density, area density negatively correlated with CEC. Fine are closely related nutrient contents, CEC, species composition at ecosystem level.

Fuzzy clustering analysis for modeling of soil cation exchange capacity
The objective of this study was to investigate fuzzy clustering analysis based on subtractive clustering algorithm for modeling of Soil Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC). In this work, seventy soil samples were collected from different horizons of 15 soil profiles located in the Ziaran region, Qazvin province, Iran. The data set was divided into two subsets. One for calibration (80% data) and seco...

Investigation of soil properties like Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) plays important roles in study of environmental reaserches as the spatial and temporal variability of this property have been led to development of indirect methods in estimation of this soil characteristic. Pedotransfer functions (PTFs) provide an alternative by estimating soil parameters from more readily available soil data...

Measuring the cation exchange capacity (CEC) for all horizons of Several researchers have attempted to predict CEC every map unit component in a survey area is very time consuming from clay and organic C contents alone, using multiple and costly. The objective of this study was to d...
متن کاملAssessment of spatial variability of cation exchange capacity with kriging and cokriging
Cation exchange capacity (CEC) is one of the most important soil attributes which control some basic properties of soil such as acidity, water and nutrient retaining capacity. However, the measurement of cation exchange capacity in large areas is time consuming and requires high expenses. One way to save time and expenses is to use simple soil covariates and geostatistical methods in mapping CE...
متن کاملUrbanization in China drives soil acidification of Pinus massoniana forests
Soil acidification instead of alkalization has become a new environmental issue caused by urbanization. However, it remains unclear the characters and main contributors of this acidification. We investigated the effects of an urbanization gradient on soil acidity of Pinus massoniana forests in Pearl River Delta, South China. The soil pH of pine forests at 20-cm depth had significantly positive ...
